Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician I for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. Candidate must have the hands‑on capability to perform calibration activities with strong attention to detail as required for this role.
Rate Range: $15/hour to $16/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Calibration Technician I Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour

Calibration Technician I Job Responsibilities Include
- Performing basic calibration activities and assisting with mechanical or pressure equipment verification.
- Supporting internal teams by running routine and occasional automated system calibrations.
- Completing accurate data entry and maintaining calibration records within the lab environment.
- Following written instructions to execute testing tasks and handle measurement‑related work.
- Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring calibration tools are organized and functional.
- Contributing to verification tasks by using basic test instruments such as multimeters or calipers when needed.
- Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree considered when paired with relevant experience.
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in equipment testing or calibration support roles.
- Candidate must have strong attention to detail with the ability to read and follow written instructions accurately during calibration tasks.
- Must have basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with measurement tools such as multimeters or calipers.
