Process Engineer

We are excited to be supporting a leading global Tier 1 automotive supplier as they expand their North American operations. To drive this growth, they are seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team.

The role:

• Participate in new product launch and establish new part process and parameters
• Lead new process and material development initiatives.
• Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
• Provide daily manufacturing support and develop new manufacturing processes.
• Work with equipment manufacturers to develop cost effective and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Lead process design and modification efforts to improve plant productivity, reduce cycle time, reduce scrap and rework costs, and lower overall costs.

Requirements:

• 3 years experience is a similar role (Process Engineering)
• Strong understanding of lean methodologies
• Manufacturing background required
• Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
• Automotive/plastic injection experience (Preferred)
