Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting freight using different types of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles including dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers for the transportation of freight.
• Execute route driving efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at delivery locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on various routes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Manage loading and unloading of freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is advantageous.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in freight transportation is a plus.
• Ability to operate different types of vehicles such as tankers, flatbeds, and dump trucks is desirable.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
