What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Carpenter/Cabinet Maker position at Akira Wood, LLC?
Located downtown Gainesville, FL.... We are a high-end architectural woodworking shop seeking to fill two roles: a dynamic & experienced full-time painter/finisher and also an a dynamic experienced full-time cabinet maker to work in our clean, well-equipped and well-maintained shop, producing world-class custom millwork products.
REQUIREMENTS:
> Five (5) years of experience with finishing or cabinet making, .
> Responsible & reliable with ability to work full-time and potentially overtime.
> Execute with extremely high attention to detail to produce high-quality finished products for custom-made cabinets.
> Highly proficient with handling complex surface prep, mixing custom colors, operating specialized tools, and ensure every job meets safety and craftsmanship standards.
> Highly proficient with woodworking equipment including panel saws, wide-belt sanders, CNC, shaper cutter, compressors, dust collection, etc.
> Maintains a clean workspace with safety & quality as priorities.
> Collaborate with team
> Ability to lift 75 pounds and stand continuously
