Description:Support and maintain our diverse fleet of ground support equipment (GSE), including pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, de-ice trucks, Lav/water trucks, stairs, and specialty vehicles. This role focuses on fueling, fluid checks, cleaning, and assisting GSE Technicians, providing hands-on experience with aircraft support equipment.
Growth Opportunities:
- Gain hands-on experience with diesel, gasoline, and automotive GSE.
- Learn preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Opportunity to progress to Level II – Experienced Fleet Technician.
- Fuel and maintain diesel- and gasoline-powered GSE, including de-ice trucks.
- Check and top off fluids, including oil, hydraulics, and coolant.
- Assist GSE Technicians with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Clean equipment cabs, engines, and compartments.
- Operate basic GSE under supervision (does not include aircraft de-icing operations).
- Report equipment issues promptly and accurately.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude or prior automotive/fleet experience (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions (reasonable accommodations considered).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment non-DOT drug test and FAA background check.
- Valid driver's license required.
