Job Title: Quality Assurance - QA Analyst III
Onsite in WA- Bellevue - 3 days in office (hybrid)
5 year of experience (more senior candidates are highly preferred)
Summary:
The main function of a QA analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. An entry level QA test analyst will typically run scripts given to them; as they progress, the analyst is responsible for the development of scripts.
Must-Have Skills
1. SDK testing experience (mobile SDKs).
2. API testing experience ● Ability to validate backend/service integrations and troubleshoot issues via API-level testing.
3. Cloud familiarity: AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform ● Working knowledge of cloud-based applications/infrastructure (AWS/Google Cloud Platform) to support testing and debugging.
4. Backend development / strong debugging skills
● Helpful since the role involves more complex testing and troubleshooting beyond basic QA execution.
5. Automation experience (especially for complex/mobile or SDK-related testing)
● Comfort building/maintaining automated tests and using third-party tools to scale coverage.
6. Ads/monetization domain knowledge (ad space familiarity)
● A plus alongside SDK testing, since the SDK work ties into monetization use cases.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one''s time.
• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Knowledge of computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required.
