Schedule: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday-Thursday or Friday-Monday).
Responsibilities
• Biohazard Response: Perform routine biohazard remediation within the custodial scope as authorized by the Government.
• Waste Handling: Coordinate the removal of trash and recycling to designated outside collection containers.
• Spill Cleanup: Promptly report and clean up spills in accordance with VAPORHCS environmental regulations.
• Sanitary Support: Maintain cleanliness in non-direct patient care areas, ensuring all surfaces are free of pathogens and debris.
Requirements
• Security: Must successfully pass a Tier 1 Background Investigation (NACI) and fingerprinting prior to starting work.
• Uniforms: Must wear a standard, neat, and recognizable custodial uniform with appropriate closed-toe safety footwear.
• Compliance: Complete annual VA Privacy, Information Security, and Bloodborne Pathogen training.
