Description:  CDL Class "B" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Location:      Fairbanks, AK 

Pay:             $27- $30 Per Hour

Schedule: (Full-Time) Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

CDL Class "B" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities for CDL Class "B" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

• Delivery of products on assigned routes 
  

• Loading and Unloading.
  

• Confirm that the correct products are loaded and delivered to the appropriate customer locations. 
  

• Maintain delivery paperwork and other records associated with assigned routes.
  

• Complete routine vehicle checks before and after driving and communicate any equipment or vehicle concerns.
  

• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.
  

• Assist in the warehouse when delivery responsibilities are completed or additional operational support is needed.
  

• Receive incoming freight and assist with unloading shipments arriving by semi-truck.
  

• Check incoming products and freight against receiving information and report discrepancies when identified.
  

• Move and organize freight, cylinders, and other materials within designated warehouse and loading areas.
  

• Keep the delivery vehicle and work areas organized and ready for daily operations.
  

• Assist the team with additional delivery, warehouse, and material-handling responsibilities as needed.
  

• Commercial driving experience preferred.
  

• Experience transporting hazardous materials is strongly preferred.​

Requirements

Requirements for CDL Class "B" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

• Class B CDL or higher required 
  

• Clean driving record.
  

• Drug screening and background check required for this position.
  

• Must be able to meet applicable DOT requirements for commercial driving.
  

• Current Hazmat endorsement required
  

• Must be able to safely perform physically demanding work, regularly including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, loading, and unloading cylinders and other materials.​
