As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead process development, support production optimization, and champion automation and capital equipment projects that drive efficiency, safety, and quality.
This is a hands-on role for a motivated engineer ready to take ownership of manufacturing initiatives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automated systems.
- Support brazing, welding, machining, and fabrication processes.
- Lead capital projects from justification through startup.
- Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain to ensure product and process readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma,and other efficiency frameworks.
- Participate in product launches, DFM/A, PFMEA, and validation activities.
- Support training and mentorship for operators and junior engineers.
- Stay current on manufacturing trends and recommend emerging technologies.
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or related).
- Experience: 3 years in manufacturing; background in brazing, welding, machining, or fabrication preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidEdge), GD&T, and tooling design.
- Familiarity with aluminum heat exchanger manufacturing and steel assembly processes.
- ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) and exposure to MES/SCADA/IIoT systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- 60% seated, 40% walking with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable using standard fabrication tools and safety equipment.
