Are you a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys helping patients achieve meaningful progress in the comfort of their own homes? Akeso Health Care, a family-owned company that has been serving the community for more than 30 years, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality home health services to patients in the Mahoning and Columbiana Counties.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing needs in the home setting.
- Develop and carry out individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients / caregivers on treatment strategies, safety, and home programs.
- Document visits, progress, and changes in condition accurately and on time.
- Travel to patient homes throughout the assigned service area.
What We’re Looking For
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio.
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive care team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
- Home health experience is preferred, but not required.
