Job Overview:
Akervall Technologies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Customer Service & B2B Sales Support Associate to handle customer-facing communications across our consumer and business channels. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer service inquiries while also supporting light B2B sales and order-processing activities. This is a part-time role (20–30 hours per week) with a consistent schedule. The candidate may set their working hours, provided the schedule is communicated in advance and maintained consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Handle inbound customer service inquiries via email and other support channels
Respond to questions related to orders, products, warranties, returns, and general support
Maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy in all customer communications
Escalate complex issues internally when appropriate
B2B Customer Service & Sales Support
Assist with basic B2B order processing and follow-up
Support simple outbound sales emails and calls to existing or prospective accounts
Respond to inbound B2B inquiries and route opportunities appropriately
Update and maintain customer and sales activity records in HubSpot CRM
Administrative & Support Duties
Keep HubSpot CRM data organized and up to date
Assist with light administrative or operational tasks as needed
Take on additional light duties as assigned to help fulfill the 20–30 hour weekly schedule
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service required
Comfort communicating with both consumers and business customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
