Education and Experience:
As a Stitcher Operator you will be responsible for operating the stitcher machine to stitch flat sheets of paper together.

- Set-up, operating and quality of the Stitcher.
- Examines work order to determine work instructions.
- Set stitchers for specified length and thickness of stitch and threads stitching wire into the machine.
- Starts machine and makes trial run.
- Readjusts machine setup if necessary.
- Assists in feeding and off bearing machine.
- Oils, greases, and cleans machine parts and makes minor repairs to keep machine in working condition.
- Inspects completed work.
- Must observe all safety policies and procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out policy.
- Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management

- Ability to frequently stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Education and Experience:
- 18 years of age or older
- GED or high school diploma, 1-3 months experience or combination of education and experience
- Mathematical skills required for counting, measuring, reading, and converting data.
- Ability to read and utilize measurement devices accurately.
