Akerman LLP is seeking a part-time Office Services Assistant for its Tallahassee office. The working hours will be 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mail
- Pick up and deliver documents to courts, state agencies, and other locations
- Perform business-related errands as needed
- Set up and clean-up of meeting rooms
- Stocking and cleanup of kitchen areas
- Document copying
- Maintenance of supply inventory
- Complete special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a professional work environment
- Law firm experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong working relationships with employees
- Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and produce accurate and high-quality work product
