We seek a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of prossesing and oversight of the retail store. The Akeley Regional Community Center is a Faith based organational ideal candidate will be responsible for processing donations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Duties
- Lead and motivate prosseing donations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
- Implement effective employee orientation and training programs to foster a knowledgeable workforce.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate record-keeping for all employees.
- Supervise staff performance, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the store.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is required.
- Strong understanding of POS systems and retail operations is essential.
- Experience in team management with the ability to inspire and develop staff members.
- Administrative skills including payroll management and employee scheduling are necessary.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred to enhance communication with diverse customer bases.
- A background in market analysis or retail strategy development is advantageous.
