Role Description The General Manager is a full-time position based in Billings/ Great Falls/ Bozeman, MT. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements. The General Manager leads and mentors the team, sets performance expectations, and ensures outstanding guest service and consistent food quality. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, managing budgets, analyzing sales and labor reports, and implementing strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals. The General Manager also collaborates with leadership on local marketing initiatives, maintains a safe and compliant work environment, and drives continuous improvement in processes and team culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience coaching, developing, and motivating staff in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong operations and organizational abilities, including experience with scheduling, inventory control, vendor coordination, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Solid financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, cost control, interpreting sales and labor reports, and making data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive guest and team relationships.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and restaurant management systems; comfort working in a hybrid environment with both on-site and remote responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role in restaurants or hospitality strongly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business operations.
