Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Details:

• Location: Spencer Hospital, 1200 First Avenue East, Spencer, IA 51301
• Start Date: 04/26/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Schedule: Includes holiday coverage & 2 weekends in a 6-week block (may vary based on department needs)
• Openings: 1
• Blended Hourly Rate Range : $65/hr - $68/hr on w2
• EMR: Currently Meditech (transitioning to EPIC end of May)

Facility Details:

• Rural hospital in northwest Iowa
• Bed size: 50–149
• 500 employees

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized patient care using the nursing process
• Take responsibility for patient outcomes during assigned shift
• Collaborate with healthcare team for total patient care
• Follow age-specific care protocols

Requirements:

• Active IA RN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• ED/ICU experience OR 1 year Med/Surg experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required)
• Must have or acquire in the first year ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS, NCI and HAZMAT

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
