Key Responsibilities
- Customer service: Greet guests, answer questions about the course and merchandise, and handle complaints professionally.
- Sales and transactions: Process payments for green fees, merchandise, and rentals using a point-of-sale system.
- Tee time management: Schedule and manage tee times in an electronic reservation system.
- Retail and inventory: Sell merchandise, assist with restocking, organize displays, and report inventory levels.
- Shop and facility upkeep: Ensure the pro shop is clean and orderly, and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Cart maintenance: Prepare golf carts for the day, clean them after use, and return them to storage.
- Support for events: Assist with the coordination of tournaments and special events.
- Customer service and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with members and guests
- Golf knowledge: A general understanding of golf is helpful
- Computer skills: Ability to use basic computer functions and reservation systems
