Job Overview
AKAASA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract at a well-established Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Beulah, North Dakota.
This position primarily consists of CMA day shifts, with occasional CNA shifts as needed to maintain a guaranteed 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting.
- Record vital signs and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist with medication administration and treatments within CMA scope.
- Support residents with daily care needs.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams.
- Follow infection control and facility policies.
Schedule
- Primary CMA Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional CNA shifts may be:
- 8-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- 40 Hours Guaranteed
- Overtime opportunities available.
- 48-hour work weeks may be available with prior approval.

Requirements
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification
- Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS (if applicable)
- COVID vaccination required, or willingness to follow the facility's testing policy
