What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at AKA's?
We are looking for a reliable kennel assistant for growing kennel. Must be dog-friendly, responsible, punctual, dependable, and able to multitask. You must be in good physical condition, able to squat, stoop, bend, lift and do a lot of walking. You must be able to handle dogs of all sizes without them controlling you. Must be willing to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. General duties include, but are not limited to, feeding and watering all pets, walking dogs, monitoring food/ water consumption, scooping poop, hosing down areas as needed, washing dog bowls, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Yard work, mowing, raking, etc., providing dogs with TLC and exercise (requires daily walking), Bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. Also, clean up horse pasture and stalls. Location: must have driving license; Caledonia
