In the state of New Mexico we offer playground equipment solutions, furniture products, athletic options (sales and installation) to cities, schools, childcare centers, homeowners associations, churches, apartment complexes etc. (commercial customers only).
We are seeking an independent territory sales executive to cover New Mexico. Salary is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
- Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on potential leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve sales targets
- Utilize assigned software to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Lead generation and tracking.
- Business development.
- Follow up on leads.
- Set up site visits and meetings with potential customers.
- Site evaluation, planning and measuring.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Must be willing to travel overnight.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- General construction knowledge, (or experience) i.e. estimating, reading installation details, site planning, product installation, concrete forming.
Qualifications/Skills
- Proven experience in outside/inside sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer services orientation with a consultative approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Strong sales acumen with a focus on achieving sales goals/targets.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of products/services for effective sales presentations.
- Demonstrated business development skills in expanding market share
- Valid Driver's License.
- Overnight Travel.
