Loader Operator – Full-Time
AK Materials is looking for a reliable, safety-minded Loader Operator to join our growing team. If you enjoy operating heavy equipment, take pride in maintaining your equipment and work area, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely loading customer trucks with aggregate materials, maintaining organized stone stockpiles, and keeping the stone yard clean, safe, and efficient. You'll also load aggregate bins for the concrete plant, assist with loading and unloading flatbed deliveries, perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on the loader, and help with general yard operations as needed.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and works well as part of a team. Experience operating wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment is preferred, but we value a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work while helping keep our operation running efficiently.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
