Position Overview:
The Part-Time Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate should have experience working independently, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial settings
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues safely and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Ensure compliance with NEC, NYC electrical codes, and company safety standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors
Perform service calls and small projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Valid New York City Electrical License or equivalent field experience under a licensed electrician
Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience (commercial)
Knowledge of NYC and NEC electrical codes
Ability to use electrical tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
