Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Part-Time Electrician to join our team in Bellmore, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings
Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure systems meet local and national electrical codes
Install wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications:
Valid NYS Electrical License or equivalent experience (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience (residential or commercial)
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed
Schedule & Compensation:
