Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to client needs and property types
- Educate customers on pest prevention techniques, including landscaping, lawn care, and sanitation practices
- Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, chemicals used, and follow-up schedules
- Operate farm machinery and land management tools as needed for integrated pest management in agricultural settings
- Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation between job sites
- Strong communication skills to explain procedures and recommendations clearly to clients
- Willingness to learn about different pest species and treatment methods
- Physical ability to perform inspections and treatments that may require standing, bending, lifting, or working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic familiarity with sales techniques is a plus for promoting additional services
