Responsibilities
- Oversees plant operations and resources to consistently achieve key performance goals in safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and budget performance
- Establishes and enforces plant policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations aligned with company systems, processes, and values
- Drives continuous improvement and financial performance by leading cost‑reduction and productivity initiatives, using metrics and benchmarking, and managing the operational factors that influence profitability and EBITDA
- Leads all manufacturing processes and teams to meet short‑ and long‑term production goals, resolve efficiency issues, and ensure customer schedule requirements are met
- Builds and develops plant leadership and workforce through recruiting, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, and fostering a strong, inclusive culture
- Partners cross‑functionally with planning, estimating, finance, HR, and customer leadership to ensure quality, service, account profitability, strategic growth, and protection of company assets and safety standards
Qualifications
- Extensive operations leadership with 15 years in high‑volume manufacturing, supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement background with a proven record of driving process efficiency and operational excellence
- Hands‑on, decisive leadership style with technical competence, ownership mentality, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Exceptional people leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, solve problems logically, and build strong cross‑functional relationship
- Strategic, growth‑oriented mindset with advanced Microsoft Office skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a business‑partner approach to organizational success
- Occasional travel for company meetings, customer visits
