Responsibilities
- Deliver daily written and verbal reports to stakeholders up to the Senior Manager level.
- Develop process plans for battery production lines within the Battery PE department, working directly with the Manager for guidance and support.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team, including Engineers, Construction Management, Technicians, Vendors, and General Contractors, to meet project milestones.
- Oversee equipment procurement, installation planning through execution, commissioning, pre-production trials, and launch of battery production lines.
- Adhere to and participate in advanced cleanliness protocols (clean-room standards) required for designated battery manufacturing areas.
- Lead or support equipment trials at vendor sites and on the manufacturing floor after installation, ensuring all safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
- Identify punch-list items, perform root cause analysis, and manage corrective actions.
- Summarize KPIs, support mass-production handover, and assist with resolving production issues.
- Engage with domestic and international cross-functional teams to review open items and align on key project schedules and milestones.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules for assigned areas.
- Manage budgets within assigned areas.
- Complete required internal and external training programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Production Engineer.
- Must have experience with electrode coating processes and troubleshooting.
- Project management experience (dealing with projects greater than $0.5M)
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Overtime availability as needed.
