Retail Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for retail customers, ensuring strong account management and customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth
• Partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support successful product launches and customer initiatives
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and retail landscape opportunities to drive strategic decisions
• Represent the company at trade shows and collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative products and customer solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
• Proven success managing and growing strategic relationships with major retail accounts, including grocery, mass merchandiser, drug, dollar, club, specialty, and private-label retail channels.
• Experience calling directly on retail headquarters and partnering with Category Managers, Merchandising Managers, Procurement teams, and Private Brand leaders to identify growth opportunities and drive business results
• Demonstrated ability to lead customer-facing initiatives from concept through execution, collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product development, operations, and project management teams to support new product launches and account growth
• Strong understanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketplace, including category management, retail buying processes, market trends, competitive analysis, and the development of innovative customer solutions within private label and branded product environments
• Willingness to travel 15-20% and work onsite in Port Washington, WI when not traveling
