Process Engineer - Plastic

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Train‑the‑Trainer programs to ensure consistent process knowledge and best practices across plants.
• Lead new product launches by establishing, validating, and optimizing molding processes for efficiency and repeatability
• Support equipment qualifications and re‑validations for molding machines, tools, and auxiliary systems
• Provide advanced troubleshooting expertise as the escalation point for complex processing challenges, ensuring effective resolution
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and Quality standards while maintaining flexibility to meet operational demands across shifts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a closely related technical discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding, blow molding, or plastics manufacturing
• Hands-on experience setting up molding machines and improving processes
• Experienced in new product launches, material qualifications, and manufacturing process development, validation, and troubleshooting

Salary: $80k - $95k
