What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift position at Ajulia Executive Search?
2nd Shift: 3 pm – 11 pm
3rd Shift: 11 pm – 7 am
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and help improve department operations, facilities, and grounds
- Diagnose issues, complete repairs promptly, perform preventive maintenance, and work with subcontractors as needed
- Bend/install conduit up to 2”, work with EMT/rigid types, and install or repair motor controls, relays, and switches
- Complete required paperwork, follow controller programs, and stay updated on new maintenance technologies
- Partner with supervisors, support team operations, and contribute as a reliable, team‑oriented maintenance member
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
- At least one year working with die‑casting machinery
- Computer‑literate with the ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and understand factory equipment and repairs
- Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual English‑Spanish is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, and able to work independently and reliably
