Industrial Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment efficiency and uptime by developing and implementing proactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Apply advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Supervise and hold maintenance personnel accountable for the timely and accurate completion of work assignments.
• Coach, mentor, and train maintenance staff in new or evolving maintenance procedures and technologies.
• Enhance and manage the Maintenance Management System, ensuring effective parts inventory control, maintenance scheduling, work ticket tracking, and purchasing.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and environmental permits.
• Foster a collaborative relationship between maintenance and production teams, setting clear expectations and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Travel as needed (up to 25%) between company facilities in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
• Perform other duties as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proficient in the use of computers and maintenance software systems.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience with induction furnaces is required.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO 9000 standards.
• PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, and use hands and arms to handle tools and equipment.
• Frequently required to walk, talk, and hear.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
