Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall operational performance
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools, including Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, line balancing, mistake‑proofing, 5S, and TPM
- Manage the annual CapEx budget and oversee major automation, equipment installation, commissioning, and validation projects
- Identify and execute process improvements that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost savings across the plant
- Optimize plant layouts, material flow, standard work, labor standards, and process documentation to eliminate waste and strengthen consistency
- Implement TPM to boost equipment reliability and OEE, provide technical troubleshooting support, and track project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with at least seven years of engineering experience including supervisory responsibility
- Background in Lean Manufacturing, with certification preferred, and hands‑on experience improving production flow
- Experience with robotics, automation, PLCs, and CAD systems, especially within assembly‑focused manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with polyurethane foam products and the ability to manage shifting priorities with urgency, flexibility, and attention to detail
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
