Electrical Technician

The ideal candidate will modify, repair, and improve existing electrical products, production machinery, and control systems while serving as a key technical resource and periodic backup to the Maintenance Manager.
Shift Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Electrical Maintenance & Repairs: Perform electrical maintenance and repairs, as well as modify and install production process equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose, repair, and modify electrical and electronic production machinery, components, and relay logic circuits using multimeter diagnostics.
- Control Systems Maintenance: Troubleshoot, program, and install PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and temperature controllers.
- Systems Expertise: Maintain, troubleshoot, and install automated HVAC/R systems, electrical networks, and industrial motors.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular safety checks, identify potentially dangerous electrical conditions, and take immediate corrective action.
- Technical & Operational Support: Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, utilize computer-assisted design tools, source replacement parts, and serve as backup to the Maintenance Manager as required.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Assist in directing crew tasks, foster positive team collaboration, and follow pre-established operational guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with 24V, 110V, 220V, and 480V systems, basic circuitry, VFD programming, PLCs, and multimeter operation.
- Technical Schematics: Proven ability to read and understand both electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics.
- HVAC/R & Motor Experience: Extensive background working with automated HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution systems, and industrial motors.
- Software & Systems: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD/computer-assisted engineering software.
