Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

Manage and oversee community maintenance to improve or maintain high quality standards for safety, function, and aesthetics within the community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and all other grounds, home, and road related repairs and updates, as necessary.
• Manage and coordinate home delivery and installation including foundation and flatwork preparation and supervision.
• Schedule and coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, and inspectors for repairs or supplies as necessary.
• Track and monitor maintenance related expenses and approve invoices for payment.
• Schedule, direct, and manage maintenance staff.
• Maintain proper function and maintenance of general community amenities, facilities, and utilities, as well as tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Work closely with Community and Sales Managers to provide excellent customer service
• Assist Community Manager with planning and set‐up for events.
• After‐hours availability for maintenance emergencies that do not require outsourcing.
• Notify Community Manager of any rule violations.

• Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Provide unmatched customer service to employees, customers and contractors.
• Demonstrate proficient communication skills.
• (Physical) Ability to perform maintenance work, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy objects.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge, skills, and adhere to safety guidelines and standards for landscaping, plumbing, construction, equipment, etc.
• Align personal and professional goals with the “big picture” in mind.
• Display leadership, teamwork, professionalism, knowledgeably, and integrity.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Salary based on experience and qualifications
