Water/Fire Damage Technician – Denver, CO (W-2) or (1099 Contractor) Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
We are expanding our mitigation team and seeking reliable Water & Fire Damage Technicians for residential and commercial projects throughout the Denver metro area. This will be either a W-2 or 1099 contractor position with steady work and an on‑call rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Water damage mitigation labor and demo
- Removal of all flooring types (carpet, laminate, hardwood, tile, vinyl)
- Drywall removal and controlled demolition
- After‑hours emergency response on a rotating on‑call schedule
- Fire damage cleanup and mitigation tasks
- Jobsite safety, professionalism, and communication with team leads
- Completing tasks assigned by management as job needs evolve
Requirements:
- Experience in water or fire mitigation is preferred but will hire right person
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation and phone
- Willingness to work after hours when on call
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
