What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at AJK Feedlot, LLC?
Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities.
Set up and operate irrigation equipment.
Maintain and repair irrigation systems.
Operate, service, and wash farm machinery used to feed cattle.
Repair and maintain farm vehicles and mechanical equipment on farm by performing light servicing duties, such as changing the oil or an air filter if necessary.
Employees work 12 days on and 2 days off in every 2-week pay period for a total of approximately 120 hours per pay period.
The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Saturday, 6 a.m. - 5 p.m., with potential nights and weekends required depending on the crops and weather
