Overview
The Continuous Improvement Specialist will lead and implement strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence across the organization. This role combines Lean Six Sigma methodologies with Engineering, Data Science, and/or AI for process optimization to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is embedded within a broader Operational Excellence (OE) and Digital Transformation (DX) inititative. The position supports initiatives such as:• Company-wide OE/DX programs with dedicated Greenbelt and Yellowbelt roles.• AI integration into business processes to enhance job effectiveness and growth.• Leadership workshops to instill OE culture across departments.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification (Blackbelt preferred).• 5 years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing operations, engineering, or digital transformation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Proven experience applying AI or automation tools in operational settings.• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, PDCA) and AI technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, automation).• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for process optimization.• Mentor and train Greenbelt and Yellow belt team members, supporting their development and project execution.• Collaborate with DX and OE teams to integrate continuous improvement into digital transformation strategies.• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and ensure sustainability.• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through workshops, internal communications, and leadership engagement.
Salary Range
