📣 We’re hiring: Innovation Strategy & Market Intelligence Analyst
I'm hiring an Innovation Strategy & Market Intelligence Analyst to join the growing Innovation Strategy Department (ISD) within Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition's Boston/Cambridge hub.
This role sits at the intersection of science, markets, and strategy, partnering closely with strategy leadership, R&D, and Corporate Venture Capital to identify early signals across emerging technologies and translate ambiguity into insights that inform long-term growth decisions. Beyond the analytical work, this is an opportunity to help build and scale Ajinomoto’s innovation strategy and market intelligence capability in North America as the function continues to evolve.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and synthesize early market, technology, and scientific signals across life sciences, ag tech, and advanced materials
- Translate ambiguous or incomplete information into clear, decision-relevant insights and executive-ready materials
- Partner with strategy leadership, R&D, and CVC while helping build repeatable tools and processes for innovation strategy and market intelligence
This role is ideal for someone with:
- ~2 years of experience in strategy consulting or strategy / market intelligence roles in science- or technology-driven environments
- A strong scientific or technical foundation
- The ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Motivation to grow with a developing strategy and innovation function
