Position Summary:
The Fryer Operator will tend to fryer machine for appropriate cooking of finished product by adhering to company safety rules and procedures.
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-check equipment to ensure proper operation and make adjustments as appropriate.
- Verify appropriate settings of assembly and perform minor assembly of piping.
- Informs the appropriate individuals of operating issues and needed repairs and/or adjustments.
- Fill and dispose of cooking oil as required.
- Maintain fryer oil levels.
- Keep fry area clean and clear of oil spills.
- Responsible to ensure defrost operation of freezer runs in good order.
- Have knowledge and understand control panel functions.
- Utilizes lock-out/ tag-out procedures when needed as appropriate.
- Maintain clean work area
- Must stay within assigned work area
- Responsibilities often require overtime, and weekend hours
- Must be able to effectively communicate with team members of all job levels.
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
- Prefer High School Diploma/GED
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work rapidly and with a high degree of accuracy
