1. Key Responsibilities
1.1 Mass Production Assembly Line
- Manage Engineering Orders (E.O.) implementation, equipment application, and commissioning activities.
- Apply and manage assembly line equipment and installation projects for PE vehicle development programs.
- Review and optimize assembly line operations for low-volume production items to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Improve workability, assemblability, and manufacturability of each assembly process.
- Develop and implement line improvement plans based on workforce allocation efficiency.
- Support assembly line relocation projects, including pre-relocation inspections and execution management.
- Review and implement cycle time improvement initiatives for assembly operations.
- Evaluate, install, and manage new manufacturing processes and production equipment for assembly lines.
1.2 New Model Assembly Line Development
- Develop assembly line layouts, establish manufacturing processes, and build automated production lines for new vehicle programs.
- Review assembly line production capacity (CAPA) and incorporate customer requirements.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and documentation for outsourced equipment fabrication and procurement.
- Review equipment maker designs and manage fabrication, installation, and commissioning schedules.
- Respond to customer inquiries and official communications while managing project milestones and schedules.
- Analyze assembly line investment costs and evaluate the reuse of idle equipment (dedicated, general-purpose, and other equipment).
- Review manufacturing processes and prepare cost estimates for customer quotations and bidding activities.
- Conduct try-out activities for new assembly equipment to ensure product quality, including welding and dimensional (DIM) validation.
