Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. We are interested in hiring substitute to cover teacher vacations and absences. The ideal candidate will have open availability between 7:15am and 6:00 pm and will be guaranteed 30-40 hours each week. The substitute will be working with all ages, 8 weeks-5 years.
Responsibilities
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
- Foster strong relationships with students to support their individual learning needs
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students
- Provide support for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and early childhood development principles
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts, and special education practices is a plus
- Previous experience in private school settings or tutoring is advantageous
