The Paving Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. The Foreman will oversee paving crews to ensure the timely and safe completion of paving projects. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, coordinating equipment and resources, maintaining communication with project managers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and monitoring the quality of work. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and deliver high-performance outcomes.
- Proven experience in managing paving operations, including asphalt paving and heavy civil infrastructure
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in construction environments
- Familiarity with equipment and resource scheduling for paving projects
- Proficiency in interpreting project plans and specifications to ensure quality and efficiency
- Knowledge of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and manage physically demanding tasks
