What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Hand/Brick Layer position at Ajax Electric Co.?
We have an opening for help in our Metal shop.
We build Salt Bath Furnaces, which are made of steel, cement, and lots of brick. We train from the ground up, but understanding a Measuring Tape is a must. Bricking, Drilling, Milling, Lathing, Steel Shaping, Welding, Packing, and driving fork lifts are some of the things we do here.
We are in need of a Brick layer that is dependable and can show up every day. We will train you, brick laying is physically demanding where you will be picking up and laying down bricks that can typically weight 3-6 lbs, but some are much larger.
Pay is for start and there is room to grow here. We are a tiny business (around 20 employees), and are employee-owned that tries to foster a good relationship with all employees.
