Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our thin film technology products and solutions. This individual will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has a strong technical background, and excels in building customer relationships.

This individual will be joining a team that is excited about advancing innovative technology of the future and playing a key role in groundbreaking thin film research advancements.

This individual reports directly to the Sales Manager, and will fill various day to day roles, which include:

  • Support and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying and engaging potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our thin film products, their applications, and competitive advantages.
  • Prepare and present quotations for the AJA product line.
  • Monitor the status of existing orders and provide customers with timely updates.
  • Engage in daily communication with customers through telephone, email, and/or video conferencing.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for AJA's thin film deposition materials, with a focus on sputtering targets, evaporation materials, and deposition components.
  • Manage the sales cycle from inquiry through quotation, order processing, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences to promote AJA International and stay current with market trends.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of AJA’s complete product portfolio, including deposition systems and components, to support cross-selling efforts.
  • Oversee and maintain AJA’s e-commerce targets website, ensuring product listings are current, accurate, and optimized for usability and customer engagement.

Minimum requirements:
This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the capability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is highly desirable.

The Inside Sales Representative position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
