Duties
- Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination
- Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury
- Engage with customers professionally to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and promote additional sales through upselling opportunities
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs, delivery confirmations, and client communication records
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal performance
- Build lasting customer relationships by providing friendly service, addressing concerns promptly, and enhancing overall client satisfaction
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in cargo van driving is preferred
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) safely while following proper procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in customer service roles with a focus on building positive relationships
- Must have a LLC and cargovan registered in your name
Pay: $250.00 - $350.00 per day
