Septic Pumper Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Class A CDL license with a clean MVR
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol clearing house
- Organizational skills
- Efficient communication abilities
- Positive attitude, follow direction, easygoing demeanor, and eagerness to work
- Willingness to work weekends and receive an additional weekend rate directly to regular commissions
Job Responsibilities & Commissions:
- Must be able to operate vehicles safely and efficiently
- Must treat others and their personal property with care and respect at all times, regardless of the circumstances
- Must maintain open ongoing communication with dispatchers
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on the job site
1. Septic Tank Pumper:
- 20% of profit, excluding company costs (fuel and supplies) on a daily basis
- Additional weekend rate added to regular commission rate
Weekend Job Earnings:
- Friday: $100 after 12 p.m.
- Saturday: $150 after 12 p.m.
- Sunday: $200
2. Leachate Hauling:
- $100 per load, typically 3-5 loads per day from Monday through Friday
- $150 per load on Saturday and Sunday
3. Shop Time:
- $16 per hour
Note: This position encompasses three distinct responsibilities: septic tank pumping, leachate hauling, and shop time. All three will be utilized in times of need.
