Job Title: Road Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Road Mechanic/Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and perform advanced repairs on equipment at customer locations. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired

• 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty equipment strongly preferred

• Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record (21 years old; CDL may be required in some locations)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• May need to provide personal mechanic tools

• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required depending on location

Physical Demands:

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 lbs or more

• Work indoors and outdoors as required

Road Mechanic / Equipment Technician On-Site Repairs & Maintenance

Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1-2 years of experience as a mechanic with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil/gas)

• Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record (CDL may be required in some locations)

• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals

• Ability to lift 50 lbs , work indoors/outdoors, and bend/crouch as required

Nice to Have:

• Trade school or technical training in mechanical or electrical systems

• Experience with Aerial Work Platforms, construction tools, or large-scale equipment

• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages based on location)

• Previous military experience with transferable MOS/AFSC/NEC codes (optional but applicable)

• ASE or IFPS Certification
