We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Body Shop Assistant Manager to lead our collision repair team with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily body shop activities, including auto body repair, painting, welding, and assembly processes
- Assist the manager and other staff
- Coordinate workflow among technicians to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Ensure all repairs adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts usage, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and explaining repair processes clearly
- Manage inventory of sheet metal, auto glass, soldering supplies, and other shop materials
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized work environment conducive to high-quality workmanship
- Manage parts and inspect them for damage and correct design.
- Create files for each automobile project
- Take detailed photos of each automobile before and after the repair.
- Inspect for any prior damage or related damage
Experience
- Must be able to communicate in English and Korean (Only spoken Korean required)
- No experience required.
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including sheet metal work, welding (MIG welding), soldering, and auto painting is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and vehicle maintenance procedures is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Requires ability to work in a fast paced environment while multi-tasking.
