What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Staff position at AJ Chocolate?
We are a cafe from Europe specializing in chocolate, desserts, savory bites, and coffee. We have been a family business in Europe since 2002. This is our second location in the USA.
We are looking for someone that has experience in high end coffee shops, cafes, or restaurants to open this location with us. We look for outstanding customer service and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and knowledgably
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfaction
- Take orders and upsell menu items
- Craft drinks using espresso machine, blender, and cocktail shakers
- Assemble brunch food items
- Operate hot machines such as waffle maker and panini press
- Plate desserts elegantly
- Execute opening and closing procedures
Requirements
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
