What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Team Member position at AJ Chocolate House?
We are a cafe from Europe specializing in chocolate, desserts, savory bites, and coffee. We also prepare corporate gift orders and wholesale.
We are looking for someone that has experience in high end coffee shops, cafes, or restaurants. We look for outstanding customer service and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and knowledgably
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfaction
- Take orders and upsell menu items
- Craft drinks using espresso machine, blender, and cocktail shakers
- Assemble brunch food items
- Operate hot machines such as waffle maker and panini press
- Plate desserts elegantly
- Execute opening and closing procedures
Requirements
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
