A growing and dynamic national law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Litigation Associate with a minimum of four years of coverage experience to join its New York City office.
Responsibilities will include drafting coverage opinions, reviewing and analyzing claim documents, assessing policy language, litigating declaratory judgement and bad faith actions in New York and other jurisdictions, and providing a broad range of insurance coverage services to clients, including policy language review and development. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or in the office.

Skills and Educational Requirements
- JD degree with strong academic credentials
- Minimum of four years of experience handling insurance coverage matters and litigating declaratory judgement and bad faith actions
- Experience providing coverage assessments involving private equity, fiduciary, errors and omissions, D&O, professional liability, commercial general liability, and property policies
- Ability to manage declaratory judgement and bad faith litigation from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and performing legal research and analysis
- Experience in both state and federal courts
- Active New York Bar admission in good standing
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range of $140,000 - $200,000
